Major responsibilities of this position include developing and maintaining manufacturing and quality plans, evaluating process capability and supporting the development of processes to meet quality, delivery, and cost requirements.
Essential qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field and a minimum of two years relevant experience. Experience developing manufacturing quality plans, and experience conducting process capability studies also required. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to travel occasionally overnight also necessary.
The most qualified candidate will also possess experience in a precision machining environment and experience working with medical device products and standards. Experience utilizing ERP systems, auditing quality systems and processes, and leading quality initiatives also desired. ASQ or similar professional certification, and knowledge of quality certifications (ISO, AS9100, etc.) a plus.
