Regional Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator

Cintas corporate staff departments, including Marketing, Management Information Systems, Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, Legal, Purchasing, Safety and Engineering Solutions, and Administration, support our growing number of locations nationwide, providing the support they need to consistently exceed customer expectations. Cintas is currently looking for a Regional Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator. Responsibilities include: visiting facilities and consulting with the location management team regarding HSE; conducting inspections of facilities to identify potential OSHA, EPA and DOT compliance issues; assessing facility implementation of Cintas Safety Manual requirements; monitoring completion of corrective action plans developed by the facility to address compliance or management practice issues; reviewing accident/incident investigations and OSHA recordkeeping practices; training location management team regarding HSE policies and procedures; contributing to the development or revision of OSHA, EPA or DOT compliance solutions (policies, procedures, controls, training, etc.) for implementation throughout the company; serving as resource to location HSE Coordinator and Safety and Improvement Committee at locations; and conducting annual HSE audit.Requirements:• High School degree or GED• Prefer four-year degree in health and safety, environmental studies, engineering, business, or industrial or operations management• Minimum two years health and safety experience in a manufacturing or service environment• Prefer professional safety certification such as CSP• Advanced knowledge of OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations and standards• Ability to recognize compliance and risk issues and situations• Advanced knowledge of management systems and practices related to occupational safety and health and/or environmental management• Ability to recommend, develop, and implement compliance strategies and plans• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint• Experience in the Commercial Laundry Industry as a General Manager, Plant Manager, HR Manager, Service Manager or Maintenance Manager preferred• Willingness to travel 60% of timeOur Regional Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator enjoys:• Competitive Pay• RRSP Match, DPSP Contribution• Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Package• Disability & Life Insurance Package• Paid Vacation & Holidays• Career Advancement OpportunitiesIf you feel your background is a good match please send your resume in Word format using the "Email your resume" link above, attention Jim Worley.
