Assists in the design, development, test and installation of training device support materials and data files. Loads, configures, manipulates and troubleshoots training device hardware and software to deliver training. Identifies and reports in-service technical and operational issues. Debriefs individual training event performance. Follows training device support documentation and provides/directs scripted and unscripted electronic and voice inputs as needed to meet training event requirements and objectives. Works under general direction.

Complete knowledge of instructional media and methods (e.g. interactive computer-based instruction, web-based instruction, instructor-led lecture, demonstration, practical application, etc.).

[ + ] Test Data Analysis

Complete ability to identify the required test parameters, analyze test data to support of real time testing and post test requirements. Validation of test data calculations required.

[ + ] Testing Methods

Complete knowledge of testing methods (e.g., subjective, objective, performance-based) in order to validate effectiveness of student performance.

[ + ] Training Device Knowledge

Complete knowledge of specific training device operation, operational capabilities and limitations, technical and operational issues and support structure.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Do you have glass cockpit experience?

Do you have experience as a training instructor?

Do you have experience with device testing and validation?

Do you have experience using Virtual Desktop Trainer?

Typical Education/Experience

AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
