Under direction of restaurant management, our Guest Specialists learn all aspects of caring for and serving our guests. Preparation of our handmade hushpuppies, frying and broiling our unique battered and breaded seafood as well as ensuring the proper order is prepared correctly for our guests, includes some of our Guest Specialist functions. Assisting guests at the front counter for inside dining or attending to our guest through the drive-thru window is the other essential roles of a Guest Specialist. Other duties include greeting guest, offering refills on beverages/food in the dining room, ringing orders on the Point of Sale (cash register), counting money, and maintaining a sanitary kitchen, dining room, restrooms and counter area work station on assigned shifts.
Hours vary, depending on assigned shift. Shift may include early mornings and/or late evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may vary depending on business needs.
- Ability to run a POS cash register and count cash
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to convey information and provide responses to questions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Must be minimum 16 years of age
Continuously utilizes speech, hearing, near vision, eye/hand coordination, color definition, manual/bi-manual dexterity. Frequently stands, walks, reaches above shoulders, bends, lift and/or carries up to 25 lbs., works closely with others. May require difficult work positions. Occasionally utilizes sense of taste and smell, far vision, step stool, works around chemicals/cleaners, walks on uneven surfaces, lifts and/or carries up to 50 lbs., operates vehicle.
