The manager will supervise a staff at the St. Louis Office location.

As the Clinical Appeals Manager , you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations for clinical appeals teams. This manager will have 10+ direct reports. The Manager will provide expertise or general support in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating and resolving all types of clinical appeals and grievances, and communicates with appropriate parties issues, implications and decisions. The manager will focus on inventory management and quality of work and analyzes and identifies trends for appeals and grievances. The manager will also handle escalated calls from members, provider, internal and external customers. A background in healthcare is preferred for this position.

Work Schedule:

Mon- Fri; 8:00 am - 5:00pm

Requirements of this position include:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous management experience supervising a staff

  • Knowledge of WORD, EXCEL, and Outlook
