Responsible for Invision order entry, receptionist, clerical duties and other functions as designated to maintain a clean neat working environment in the SACU.
Required: High School or GED, training for computer competency or equivalent, medical terminology class
Preferred: Unit Clerk course
Required: Previous clerical experience in a medical hospital setting, pleasing personality and phone voice, ability to work independently, must obtain excellent organization skills.
Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration
Required: CPR licensure
Department Position Summary:
The Surgical Ambulatory Care Unit Clerk is responsible for providing receptionist and clerical duties in the SACU. Responsibilities include, Invision, Net access, order entry, maintaining work area and other functions as designated.
