We are currently seeking a Sr. Clinical-Cardiology Applications Specialist to join our team.

Westerly, RI

Providence, RI

This position can be located anywhere in the US.

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the validation and launch of new products utilizing clinical domain experience and familiarity with the new & existing products.
As part of the IIBU team, this position develops and supports clinical product validation activities for new/enhanced product and product implementation processes to support the design standard as defined by the Cardiovascular Business. This position works with Regional groups to disseminate IIBU implementation and support procedures; key to these efforts is training Regional staff in products’ intended use. In addition, the position plays a key role in promoting and educating regional and customer staff on CVBU business philosophy and product strategies.

Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the validation and launch of new products, utilizing clinical domain experience and familiarity with the new and existing products, including:

~ Participate in all facets of validation including:
a. New/Enhanced product clinical analysis and development of validation test plans.
b. Training validation team and validation sites on new or enhanced product functionality
c. Perform clinical testing against pre-determined test plans
d. Act as liaison between validation teams and the R&D organization in communicating product issues or defects.
2. Clinical training and documentation – creation, review and delivery of training for Agfa personnel.
3. Support the clinical implementation of product as part of DRA (Delivery Readiness Assessment) or CDS (Controlled Delivery Site) activities.

In addition:
Provide Level III Clinical product support.
Engage in the development and support of implementation process and improvement efforts.
Clinical requirement analysis for input to product service requirements.
Clinical support and mentoring of global / regional staff.
Provide regional clinical project support.

Qualifications:
Strong clinical domain experience (active in non invasive or invasive cardiology)
Strong scheduling and time management skills
Strong tech skills (OS, SQL, XSL)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Bachelors Degree
Registry/certification in cardiology technical field (e.g. ARDMS)

10 + years of clinical experience (in either non-invasive or invasive cardiology)
Continuing medical education activities.
3-5 yrs of hands-on experience with the implementation and support of structured reporting systems in cardiology environments.

Position does not require resource to be located in Westerly, but does require the ability to work from home with little supervision. The position will also require approximately 20 % travel, short notices may apply.
