The Sales Manager will roll up their sleeves to lead, motivate and manage a local team of talented Account Executives to drive sales for our client. The Sales Manager is responsible for helping identify, recruit, hire and mold this elite sales team and manage all business activities to maximize sales volume.

Required Skills

  • Recruit, hire and train and develop sales personnel to sell client’s product in targeted accounts.
  • Lead an orientation program for new hires and a performance plan for all employees to ensure employees are motivated, learning, and consistently reaching their targets.
  • Work with employees in the field regularly to evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Provide strong leadership skills to develop personnel and educate them on the importance of all administrative requests and execution activities.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding progress, and recommend changes that would improve the effectiveness of achieving the objectives in the market.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of management experience in a fast-paced, business-to-business sales environment.
  • 2+ years experience in training employees in a sales environment.
  • Possess strong problem solving, motivational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Has an infectious attitude and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
  • Must enjoy working in a competitive work environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
