Certified Quality Instructor
The successful candidate must be able to perform and teach technical skills in soldering, torquing, crimping, cabling, applying adhesives to product build, conformal coat application and teach the build of products. Position will require up to 20% travel the first year and eventually up to 50% of the time.
The Enterprise/Regional Quality Instructor supports and teaches specific technical quality training related to process specifications to industry workmanship standards across the enterprise including providing hands-on and blended learning delivery of knowledge and skills in the manufacturing sector of aviation and aerospace industry. In addition, this position performs training needs assessments, maintains training content and documentation, designs programs to train operational and quality personnel and prepares training materials in conjunction with project leaders. The position also supports OJT in production related to process specifications and workmanship standards.
This position provides services such as training matrix, schedules and training at build and rework sites across the enterprise as needed. The Enteprise/Regional Quality Instructor trains other trainers related to operational processes and workmanship standards, technical training and audiovisual techniques. This position will participate in industry networks and forums.
This position requires supporting the SAP LMS training database with inputs of courses and outputs of course completions. In addition, this position requires identifying creative and strategic delivery options of quality training domestically and internationally. This position requires strong industry knowledge and skills in workmanship standards for product acceptance criteria, acceptable product modifications and approved standard repair procedures. The position is responsible for the solution design for projects of smaller scope and complexity related to quality training courses and delivery and managing effective transition between instruction needs and course content build.
US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) is required
Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline, or in the absence of an bachelor's degree, six years of related experience.
