Duties & Responsibilities: Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and decrease or prevent deformity of patients suffering from disease or injury. Helps patient in restoring vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, to disabled persons. May serve as lead worker.
Minimum Training & Experience: Current or eligible for Georgia licensure in area of assignment AND Three years of clinical experience in area of assignment OR Three years of experience at thelower level or position equivalent (HCP041)
Agency Specific Qualifications and/or Preferred Qualifications: MS preferred, but a minimum of BS; Supervisory experience, good leadership and people skills.
Knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS standards; knowledge of occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, activity therapy, along with nutrition practice standards and of the Nutrition Care Process. Related experience in:
