Assists the Project Engineer, Engineering Technician III, and staff in construction project observation, surveying, drafting, inventories as well as other engineering related tasks. Assists with storm water policy enforcement including site inspection for erosion control, storm water pollution prevention plan review, and other storm water system related duties.
This is a seasonal position that begins in May and could continue through August or later, dependent on department needs.
Dates are flexible to accommodate applicant's school schedules.
High school graduate currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science curriculum in Transportation, Civil, or closely related Engineering field at an accredited college or university with a current grade point average of 2.75 or above on a 4 point scale.
Must possess a valid drivers license.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorships considered. Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
