Manages all aspects related to drivers.
Manages office staff personnel.

Matches power with customer shipping needs.
Assures all fleet maintenance programs are current on tractors and trailers.
Accounts for all shipments via a weekly service report.
Documents and communicates all service related issues.
Calculates weekly rate per mile for all outbound shipments.
Analyzes volume figures to forecast surges in business.
Develops a sense of trust and integrity with the customer.
Reviews all credit, collection and aging reports increase cash flow.
Reconciles daily inbound bill schedule.
Coordinates lot checks and review for stale trailers.
Maintain proper attendance and punctuality to ensure that the department is operated in an efficient and cost effective manner.
May include other duties as assigned by Management.
- Any combination of education or experience equivalent to a two year degree.
2-5+ years in-depth high volume field operational experience (depends on location/account).
Superior analytical, communication and interpersonal skills: Strong problem solving and innovative thinking skills.
Extreme patience dealing with volatile situations: flawless follow-up procedures.
Comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations impacting daily operations.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Strategic thinker with proven leadership skills.
