Johnson & Johnson Services Inc. is recruiting for a Workday Design Manager - Recruiting located in New Brunswick, NJ.
Johnson & Johnson is implementing Workday, a Human Capital Management (HCM) solution to enable the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Enterprise Talent Agenda and provide greater visibility and alignment of J&J's workforce as well as drive standardization of global Human Resources (HR) processes. We are building a HR Operations team to manage the various aspects of the implementation and to support the day-to-day operations post implementation. The HR Operations team will work in tandem with the Information Technology team to manage future releases and implementation schedules beyond the first phase.
The Workday Design Manager - Recruiting will serve as the lead role responsible for Recruiting & Benefits design and implementation for J&J. The Workday Design Manager - Recruiting will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the Workday product. Responsibilities include all functional aspects of the Recruiting & Benefits strategy in Workday, including but not limited to supporting design sessions, process analysis, configuration, test execution, training, roll-out and post-implementation support. This individual will team with Global Benefits and Global Recruiting Business Process Owners (BPO), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as well as other key stakeholders to provide inputs into design activities while establishing the steady-state operations. He/she will review functionality, validate a configuration decision, and check conversion data to ensure validity. He/she will also review planned test scenarios/scripts and target for specific functionality as well as escalate issues to the Project Management Office.
Minimum of a Bachelor Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred. Minimum five years of HR experience required with two years in HR Technology. Experience working with SaaS (Software as a Service) preferred. Experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) implementation preferred (ie, Workday). Ability to influence peers (within HR and cross-functional) strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills. Minimum 5 years experience in benefits system implementation/configuration preferred. Minimum 2 yrs configuration or development experience in Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, or Taleo or workday preferred. Knowledge of HR processes required. Ability to build strong relationships within the organization with Specialist Groups (COEs), Enterprise stakeholders, IT, Finance and other cross-functional partners strongly preferred. Executive presence as well as experience partnering with multiple stakeholders and countries preferred. Travel requirements include approximately 30-50% global travel. Ability to work in New Brunswick, NJ required.
