Global Quality Engineer
, to be located at any of our
CEM plants Greenville, SC/ Greenville, TX/ Havre de Grace, MD or Anaheim, CA
.
Qualifications
Minimum four year degree in Engineering or other technical field
At least 5 years experience in managing quality and manufacturing operations (production, technology and quality) with increasing responsibility/roles in environments of change
Project management skills include being able to organize task to deliver proper solutions in a timely fashion
Quality system background with understanding of basic Quality guidelines related to the Aerospace industry
Recognized expertise in elements of continuous improvement and demonstrated success in leading significant changes through the organization.
Strong computer skills with multiple software systems and data analysis background.
This person will become the point of contact between multiple CEM facilities to assist in standardizing processes within CEM.
AS9100 or IS9000 Auditor certification; CQM preferred.
Responsibilities
Quality Processes & Culture:
Lead and provide decisions on critical issues and projects within LIMs across department groups that will bring value to the business and customers in the production sites, customer service and supply chain distribution globally for CEM.
Assist efforts in maintaining effective externally certified business processes like AS9100/RC14001 and other specific industry standards.
Manage global help desk ticket for LIMS and NWA software – determine issues which need to be addressed by IT programmers.
Manage Third Party Quality Information and COA data transfers
Partner with Site QMs to provide leadership for continuous improvement across CEM quality assurance laboratory processes, QA IT data systems.
Provide support and leadership for the continued enhancement of Quality System effectiveness.
Take direct leadership role in resolution of site end user process and system issues, problem solving teams and the implementation of permanent improvements.
Partner with IT to coordinate enhancements for QA related systems
Provide regular communication through the quality organization for the status of improvements and projects.
Other Quality Excellence Improvements:
Develop and drive implementation of other quality & operational improvement plans in areas of employee quality/process communication and engagement, operational planning and control, transactional processes, IT systems and quality system best practices, etc.
Strategic Project Execution:
Quality resource as needed to complete key strategic IT projects.
Sustainable Process Development
: Instilling and driving a pervasive and relentless culture of continuous quality improvements through LIMS and IT systems.
