We are seeking a talented, experienced Traffic Coordinator for our fast-paced Creative Services department. The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling, timeliness, and delivery of all advertising, publication and graphic deliverables and for taking a leadership role in the execution of all marketing projects.
Duties and responsibilities:
Serves as the first point of contact to all internal/external requesting groups in need of creative services
Workflow scheduling, timeliness, delivery and deadline management for all creative/advertising deliverables on web (banners, emails), print (ads, inserts, outdoor), and original book covers.
Follow-up on all projects and compile performance results and be willing to report to creative team and make future scheduling decisions based on previous performance
Management & assessment of creative briefs, calendars, and scheduling of kickoff meetings.
Coordinate production workflow including scheduling and deadline management for all creative/advertising both on the web and print (to include print, radio, outdoor, email, online and television). This also includes management of creative brief and scheduling of kickoff meetings.
Insures the accurate and timeliness of routing of print/web collateral and ad placement.
Traffic creative to and from outside agencies and partners
Manage daily meeting with creative team to go over project status, deadlines and new projects
Develop and maintain sign-off/proofing processes for ensuring accurate deliverables
Represent creative team at larger marketing teams and be able to manage blocks in process
Manage freelance/contractor relationships and anticipating their use when needed, also verifying timesheets
5+ years of experience required working traffic for an advertising agency or in a similar capacity,
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Ability to proofread for errors
Ability to prioritize work and set schedule to meet deadlines
Ability to follow design standards
Superb interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
Strong knowledge of MS Office products.
Knowledge of project management software, desktop publishing and database and list management tools.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively and handle multiple priorities.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite products
Web knowledge a plus
Education: Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) is required
