Duties and Responsibilities: This a direct support position supporting a Navy Program Office as a Principal Program Analyst, specifically supporting the Surface Warfare Mission Module office within PMS 420 at PEO LCS. This work involves the research and preparation of decision briefs, information briefs, point papers, budget analysis, status reports, analytical research and participation in technical meetings. This position often requires representing the government client in telephone conferences and in meetings. The work is from Monday to Friday, typically 40 hours per week. The office location is at a CACI Facility near the Washington DC Navy Yard but much of the time is spent at the client site working near or with the client.
Required Qualifications: Requires Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related (project support or management) experience with US Navy Acquisition Programs. A current secret level clearance is required. Must be able to physically work in the Washington DC area (not telecommute). Experienced with the Microsoft Office Software Suite.
Desired Qualifications: Technical degree. Experience with ACAT 1 Acquisition Programs. Navy background, either active duty, civilian government, or as a contractor. Experience with the DoD PPBE System. Military artillery or naval gunnery experienced would be a plus. US Navy shipboard experience desireable.
