JRTC LEPs will assist in observing, training, classroom instruction, and doctrine development at Training Centers for the US ARMY. Duties include participating and training in Military Readiness Exercises (MRX) to prepare units for deployment. Provide units for deployment with LEP lessons learned from counter-IED investigations and overall counterinsurgency expertise.

Certified academy graduate working as a civilian sworn full time law enforcement officer in a federal, state, or local law enforcement agency with a minimum of 10 years experience. Experience investigating one, or more, of the following matters: organized crime, gangs, narcotic violations, and violent crimes. Applicable operational experience in CENTCOM area of operation supporting OEF activities is required. Must have experience as a Law Enforcement Professional (LEP) working in the LEP Program. Must be in possession of a current US Tourist Passport. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must possess an unblemished law enforcement background. Must be in good health and fitness to deploy globally to include harsh non-permissive environments.
