is responsible for marketing of commercial insurance accounts. Must oversee all aspects of the marketing process from initial submission to the binding of coverage. Typical job duties include, but are not limited to, determining the appropriate markets to be approached, assisting producers in market pick selections, obtaining and analyzing quotations and declinations from various insurers, and preparing high quality and accurate proposals for presentation. Develop and maintain a close working relationship with insurance company underwriters and wholesale brokers and enjoy working with producers and account managers within the office. Individual should demonstrate clear knowledge of commercial insurance coverage and industry offerings.
220 Property & Casualty License required.
5 or more years of experience in the property/casualty industry. (Experience working on accounts that generate a minimum of $5,000 in annualized revenue preferred.)
Possess excellent organization and time management skills.
Demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously despite complexity.
Results oriented with the drive to succeed.
Prefer a candidate who has a professional designation or is in the process of obtaining one. (CIC, CPCU, AAI or ARM)
Must have an understanding and ability to rate Citizens Commercial and Commercial Residential
Must have an understanding and ability to rate NFIP
Possess good computer software skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)
Knowledge of Applied Agency Management System is preferred
