The Cargill Salt Business Unit services customers by packaging and shipping salt for the food, water conditioning, industrial, agricultural and packaged deicing markets.
Our team is looking for a Customer Solutions Specialist for the Hutchinson, KS office. You will develop in-depth knowledge of the customer order management function with an emphasis on order entry, transportation, product knowledge and customer knowledge. You will manage customer problems and provide resolutions to customer.
This position is responsible for understanding and following the entire Customer Order Management process. This includes: accurate order entry and follow-through to on-time invoicing. Works collaboratively with different functional groups within the Salt business. Will acquire knowledge of the Supply Chain and Sales functions as well as salt products and their applications.
45% Manages the Customer Order Management process from order entry through receipt of the product
45% Manages and resolves customer issues
5% Increases knowledge and skills through training and development
5% Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned
Relocation will not be provided for this position.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of customer service work experience
Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and accountabilities
Excellent communication skills to manage internal and external customers
Strong computer and analytical skills relates to order management process
High level time management and organization skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Ability to work overtime and/or different shifts as needed
Ability to travel as needed
Proficiency with SAP
