Job Description:
The Regional Field Membership Manager is responsible for
serving as the subject matter expert and consultant to
support the business through MFI, sales procurement and
growth. Additional responsibilities include, but are not

limited to:
  • Promotes membership priority and focus as a shared
and relevant part of the total business
  • Partners, collaborates and supports Zone Team in the
achievement of MFI goals through a thorough
understanding of the membership and business model
  • Creates competitive and breakthrough strategies and
plans based on market, trends, business needs and
future direction to deliver the desired numbers and
  • Utilizes membership analytics and results to
identify opportunities or performance gaps in
membership trends
  • Uses insight and knowledge from member trends to
ensure service remains a competitive advantage
  • Through the role of membership advisor and member
advocate, position serves as a key Zone contributor
by supporting and furthering BJ's vision and mission
  • Supports GM in the direction of MARM, including
identifying talent, assisting in guiding
development, succession planning and performance
  • Special projects and committees as requested. Builds
visit schedule based on opportunities or needs
  • Acts in full partnership with AVP of Field
Membership and Field Operations to best position and
support the development and execution of club level
strategies and tactics, ultimately securing a shared
commitment to and driving the successful achievement
of MFI leading to EBITDA and sales growth
  • Shares knowledge and expertise to collaborate
through listening and active and mindful feedback
with HO and Field in the development and
implementation of membership strategies and training
programs that support the achievement of objectives
and goals at club level
  • Educate and guide field team, to clearly understand
the Membership Model, the vision and the
opportunities therein that drive the overall
business and directly impact/influence all channels
  • Provides relevant and timely intelligence, analytics
and reporting to the appropriate business partners
to proactively develop and implement initiatives
that support field acquisition and retention efforts
for positive results
  • Strategically visits Zone/Region specific Clubs,
specifically GM and MARM, prioritized by current
challenges or performance gaps, to evaluate, advise
and create action plans
  • Proposes and influences Zone specific membership and
member experience resolution, ensuring a shared,
efficient and consistent approach without compromise
to Members First/Raving Fans or the integrity of the
business model
  • Ensure candidate is identified and positioned in
each Zone for Field Membership Manager succession

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Marketing
4+ Years Retail or Membership Management
Available to travel to different locations as
needed(some overnight travel as well), as this is a
multi-unit position.
