Minimum Requirement - Primary Education :
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
Minimum Requirement - Primary Experience :
Must have four years of administrative or management experience.
Education Substitution :
A master's degree will substitute for one year of the required experience.
Experience Substitution :
Additional administrative, management or research experience will substitute for the required education on a year for year basis.

Description of Job Duties
This position will provide direct assistance in the development of activities and programs for the Department of Workforce Investment. Will carry out the Department's Workforce Academy Curriculum Recommendations plan. Will assist and ensure implementation and realignment of the Department's training goals and values in each agencies office's staff training plans. Will develop and manage a department wide leadership development program; track the competency and certification attainment of the department employees in accordance with goals and performance metrics; perform other duties as assigned.

Characteristics of the Class :
Provides administrative support services to department head, cabinet head or executive director and provides technical management assistance to all organizational units within the agency; and performs other duties as required.
