BASIC JOB FUNCTION:|
Performs essential HR functions for assigned program areas.
Supports the Associate Director HR in communicating HR policies and procedures related to assigned administrative or program area.
Serve as initial point of contact for employee issued inquiries
Track and maintain documents and records to ensure compliance
Applies knowledge of HR best practices to execute program initiatives and assist in the development of procedures and practices that contribute to enhanced and improved HR operations in assigned programs
Schedules, processes and records all HR services and activities within assigned HR area. This includes activities related to selection and hiring, onboarding and training, compensation and benefits administrative, recruitment, performance management and employee and labor relations.
Makes decisions that are guided by HR priorities, policies, and procedures within the assigned HR administrative and/or program area.
Works both independently and with others to ensure timely processing of paperwork and resolution of employee relation matters
Education/Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Years of Experience: Minimum of three years of HR or Administrative experience
Other skills and requirements: Experience in multi-cultural and non-profit environments, preferably in a human services or social services setting. Proficiency in managing data within a HR Information System(s) and with other related software applications. Ability to effectively communicate with multi-cultural groups
