Responsible for planning, coordinating, developing and implementing a professional individual and group counseling program or appropriate incarceration screening for assigned inmates in compliance with CHC, facility and correctional healthcare directives.
Working Conditions :
Work is performed inside a correctional facility. CHC expects employees to work in accordance with all security rules and regulations to minimize the risk of danger and/or harm to themselves or other employees. Minimum Educational/Experience Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field of study. Candidates with CAC I certification pursuing a bachelors or masters degree are encouraged to apply.
Ideal candidate will have experience in case management.
Recent graduate or current student in MA/MS degree in mental health related course of study encouraged to apply
Employment Requirements :
Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation by the company.
Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.
May be required to pass a consumer credit check depending on site assignment.
Obtain/maintain security clearance at facility as required for initial/continued employment.
Physical/Mental Requirements : Must be able to perform all of the essential elements of the position with or without an accommodation. This position routinely requires (but is not limited to) the following:
Occasional running when responding to emergencies.
Frequent walking throughout site; to include walking up and down flights of stairs.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
