The Senior Application Programmer Analyst performs development and management of the design deployment and maintenance of software applications This position also manages applications for supporting business operations projects and tools that may not be a part of the ERP application suite PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBLITIES DUTIES Analyze design and develop comprehensive application solutions servicing key business functions to ensure applicatio execution and implementation plans are aligned with businessIT objectives and priorities Collaborate technical and function representatives to define requirements design develop and implement solutions Work directly with technical support analysts business representatives and peers to identify systems development needs clarify requirements and troubleshoot fixes to determine the extent of required Oracle application changes Utilize creative and costeffective approaches to deliver high quality application solutions Support operations from a customer perspective and report to various project managers and leads related to operational status and issues Help to test support and deploy a release roadmap for the application solutions as needed Responsible for understanding and following standards and processes to support software development defining business and systems requirements unit and system testing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Understands and follows established department SDLC methodologies processes Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Follows company approved best practices to establish and maintain repeatable processes and procedures to manage our computing infrastructure and services efficiently and effectively Keep informed on existing and evolving industry standards practices and technologies Lead and drive solutions that follow industry best practices as well as meet the businesses overall objective EDUCATION EXPERIENCE 8+ years of IT experience Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in an Oracle ERP systems development position 3+ years of proven experience in all phases of the SDLC for delivery of IT solutions Bachelor’s degree in CSCISISMIS or a related field required Must have at least 3 years of working experience with Oracle 11i12g EBS and Oracle Financials applications and interfaces Working experience with Oracle Applications also includes Order Management Project Billing and Inventory in conjunction with the eBusiness Suite Must have the following functional and technical knowledge including ordertocash accounting processes Oracle ADF Oracle customization Demonstrated knowledge and skills in multiple Oracle technologies (eg Oracle PLSQL Forms Reports BI Publisher JDeveloper APIs etc) Working knowledge and experience with Oracle 12g (or Fusion Applications) upgrades highly desired SKILLS COMPETENCIES Advanced expertise with Oracle’s Application Implementation Methodology and related deliverables development design and testing Excellent written and verbal skills required to effectively document and communicate requirements and other software documentation Analytical and problem solving skills particularly resolving issues related to application design and development Welldeveloped interpersonal skills required to communicate with business stakeholders to gathering requirements and effect followthrough as software is developed deployed and maintained Demonstrated ability to communicate crossfunctionally with internal technical resources Demonstrated knowledge and skills in structured IT service delivery approach (eg Agile development ITIL and COBIT) Passion and drive to create software solutions to meet realworld business needs Must be available on call for critical business operations support Additional Information Prefer candidates with Green Card Employment authorization document or US citizenship
