In the Norton™ Engineering team you will develop products that will fight cybercrime worldwide and protects our customers' data and identities by developing innovative new Norton products and services that quickly detect and eliminate both current and emerging threats.Responsibilities
Create Test Specs based on Product Requirement Documents and Functional Specs.
Participate in the design and development of infrastructure and Tools for the team.
Automate test cases using Selenium, QTP, Loadrunner and Quality Center.
Execute and report status on automated test suites.
Responsible for design specification review, driving test design.
Report software defects in a detailed and efficient manner.
Work with development, support, and product management to troubleshoot software defects.
Responsible for Design and Development of Test plan and Test Cases, Functional, Integration, Testing, Automation, E2E and all the related testing for the area.
5-7+ years of SQA Engineering experience.
Bachelor's Degree (Comp Science).
Strong programming ability in C++/C#/Java.
Ability to walk through code in at least two of the following technologies: TSQL, ASP.Net, C#, C++, Java, Visual Basic.
Understanding of source control and versioning systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Basic understanding of servers and networking.
Ability to understand big picture and work on cross product assignments.
Must be willing to work as part of a team and have a “can-do” attitude.
Proficiency with SQA concepts and methods.
2-3 years of Selenium test writing experience.
Proven success in delivering enterprise-level software.
Excellent problem solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills.
