We currently have an opening for a Vendor Manager in the US to support Tier 1 and Tier 2 wireless providers.

The vendor manager is responsible for the support, reporting, and day to day management of a vendor that is a supplier to the carrier. The suppliers are typically network equipment vendors, software vendors, device vendors, etc.

Candidates must be willing and able to travel domestically up to 100% M-F , when necessary.


Lead a number of key existing and new vendor engagements, implementing best practices to provide a more consistent approach, while providing guidance and leadership
Ensure that vendor partners are effectively managed while assuring contract compliance
Assist in the evaluation, transition and monitoring of vendor performance
Develop effective vendor reporting approaches and create Powerpoint decks that summarize and score vendor performance over time
Contribute pro-actively with business and solutions consulting teams during the pre-sales phase.
Support RFI/RFP processes, contract negotiations and the contract review and approval process.
Help create customer proposals which lead to the selection of inCode for client projects.
Provide active and competent communication of inCode strategies in customer organization.


To be considered for this role you will have previous experience as Vendor Manager and have proven experience of managing and delivering vendor coordination for telecommunications

10 years of wireless experience, serving as a vendor manager, preferably with a carrier
5 years continuous telecom project management experience in RF, service/technology development, deployment, access or related fields
Expertise with nationally recognized vendors for backhaul, access, transport, switching, WiMAX charging/billing, policy management, service/content delivery, 3G and 4G
Experience with development and management of SLAs and performance management processes. Experience in managing vendor relationships and large contracts.
Knowledge in multiple facets of business including but not limited to financials, budgeting, and governance
Strong experience completing vendor evaluations and working with Sourcing/Procurement in developing RFx.
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
Experience in vendor pricing methods e.g., rate cards and pricing methodologies. Knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and education required to perform job.
Bachelor degree required, MBA a plus
