Ensure outpatient clinic success through active participation in Outpatient processes and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide effective leadership to Outpatient team members through facilitation of team communication, creating an environment where each individual understands the shared vision, promotion of a setting where each team member can be personally successful and contribute to the teams success, and providing the team with the training and coaching needed to excel.
Maintain holistic view of Marillac, participate in Management Team decisions, lead by mutual influence, and share strengths and weaknesses of internal capacity with Management and Director Teams.
Ensure the development and implementation of outcome measures and quality of care tracking systems. Collects data and provides reports as needed, particularly for compliance with grants. Performs clinical audits of charts to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and accreditation standards.
Ensure all eligible providers are on appropriate insurance panels, and billing and receipt for payment is within a fiscally responsible timeframe. Oversees utilization review and authorization process.
Provide leadership to Outpatient Clinic Team, facilitate training of staff, provide effective communication within the Outpatient team, provide ongoing coaching, and work with supervisor and human resources with disciplinary issues.
Manage calls from other health care institutions or providers and resolves immediate issue and provides timely responses to requests. Implements interventions to address and resolve customer concerns. Involves leadership at appropriate level to facilitate change.
Ensure availability of appropriate levels of service coverage throughout all outpatient programs. Ensure that treatment services are provided as requested and with funding source guidelines. Provide direct clinical services throughout the facility when needed and available.
Communication and Relationships
Actively communicate with, and develop favorable working relationships within all areas of Marillac. Facilitate improved communication within organization. Meet regularly with clinical and medical and other staff members to foster an integrated treatment team.
Provide timely, thorough and effective communication with Outpatient staff, and others regarding processes and issues that may arise.
Effectively communicate and act as liaison with third party payment sources, other behavioral health entities and stakeholders.
Actively participate in Management Team and other designated committee meetings. Maintain appropriate contact with other Managers and Directors to make them aware of any unusual situation and assist with any clinical issue.

Advance leadership-driven organization cultural change process, and demonstrate through actions and personal behaviors a commitment to the well being and success of Marillac, including our employees, volunteers, vendors, partners, and especially those for whom we serve and care.
Demonstrate leadership and support to the Sanctuary Steering Team efforts to integrate Sanctuary through all aspects of the agency. Provide support in priority areas such as client interaction, peer interaction, employee hiring process, and job performance and evaluation.
Uphold and ensure all work performance and personal conduct is compliant with the policies, procedures as well as mission and values of the organization at all times.
Primary Tasks & Duties
Provide support, coaching and training to Outpatient Clinic staff.
Schedule Outpatient staff according to scheduling procedures and communicate schedule with Outpatient staff, supervisors and Managers.
Develop and maintain adequate Outpatient PRN pool and communicate with Supervisors.
Ascertain future need for Outpatient staff based on forecasts, strategies and Budgets.
Provide technical assistance to other staff related to EHR and related software.
Recruit and screen applicants for Outpatient positions and communicate with interview team.
Document and track efforts toward professional growth activities for self (seminars, in service training) and others (contributing to the learning of staff).
Provide ongoing development, review and revision of the policies, goals and objectives of HR programs.
Counsel staff as appropriate and notifies Supervisors and Human Resources of any recommended disciplinary action
10. Audit charts for compliance with documentation standards set out in policy as well as other regulatory agencies.
Competencies Demonstrated understanding and utilization of Trauma Informed Care and Sanctuary.
Demonstrated proficiency with Electronic Health Record (ProFiler and other modules),

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must maintain current certification in Safety Crisis Management (SCM), and life saving procedures such as CPR and First Aid.
