RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages assigned production area of responsibility (e.g., refinery, wash plant, bulk load out) Manages department costs to remain within budget guidelines. Review, monitor and follow-up on area results; utilizes RCA techniques to improve processes. Manages team to achieve desired production rates, meeting necessary process quality, safety and cost parameters. Manages and provides day to day supervision and development of area personnel; nurtures a high performance work team environment. Minimizes operating costs through the effective utilization of energy, utilities, chemicals, packaging materials, etc. Troubleshoots issues arising in assigned area. Partners and communicates maintenance and efficiency issues with the appropriate maintenance and operations personnel. Assesses team training needs and ensures training is received in the areas of safety, environmental, human resources, technical, quality assurance, team skills, and individual skills.Direct Supervision: Staff of 15-20
