Responsible for the development and operations of the camp product for a group of camps. This position provides the leadership for financial success, human resource management, quality adherence, and risk management and safety compliance.
Provide Customer Service and marketing support to ensure camp enrollment goals
Hire, Train, and supervise a camp staff team
Provide leadership and support for the camp team to implement camp curriculum and ensure quality programming
Evaluate and manage risk and safety, maintaining all regulatory requirements
Meet budget requirements for enrollment, expense management, and net return
Coordinator Level II will also serve in an additional functional area BASE leadership or Administrative Support
Staff may spend a great amount of time working outdoors in some extreme weather conditions, may be involved in physically setting up the camp environment, and will need to be available for seasonal weekend and evening work.
There are a variety of coordinator positions supervising 1-6 camps, 20-100 staff, and a budget size of $100, 000-$650,000.
Advanced level computer skills
Bachelor's Degree in related field; and/or some college and minimum 3 years experience in camp leadership
Knowledge of ACA/DHMH regulations
