The Senior Business Analyst, Supply Chain is responsible for the management of the IT support of the company's JD Edwards Supply Chain operations. Specific business functions include:
: Procurement/Strategic Sourcing
: Inventory Management
: Sales Order Processing
: Manufacturing Work Orders
: Material Requirements Planning
: Distribution Requirements Planning

The position will directly manage:
: The day to day operation of all applicable systems and applications
: IT procedure development and updates of relevant procedures
: Maintenance of all systems in an appropriate state of validation and SOX compliance, including validation of new systems and functionality as required
: Project Management of medium to large sized projects

Reporting to the Associate Director of Finance and Supply Chain Applications, the position is responsible for the support of the business segment, including relationship management, application strategy, project management, application development, and operational support of the applications/systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Develop Detailed Design documentation based on business requirements.
: Develop support proficiency in the Sales Order Management, Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing Work Orders and MRP modules.
: Test software upgrades and enhancements.
: Monitor integrity reports and work with end users to correct them.
: Assist other programmers and analysts in the development and implementation of new programs and systems.
: Strong skills in providing business process improvement proposals to decision makers leveraging JD Edwards functionality and capability.
: Develop support procedures and continuously improve the application support process.
: Assist with the roll out of additional modules.
: Provide support, as needed, for financial and GxP audits.
: Take ownership of testing approach across all Supply Chain application areas, including: Test plan development; and Test case/ test script definition for all aspects of testing, including system integration testing, user acceptance testing, system commissioning, system qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ).
: Respond to Help Desk tickets in a timely manner.

Although the Senior Supply Chain Business Analyst position will not have supervisory authority, the incumbent will serve as a subject matter expert in the JD Edwards Distribution and Manufacturing Systems, and will provide guidance to system users accordingly. The position may require the management and supervision of external and contract resources during project development and implementations.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
: Minimum 10 years overall professional experience to include: at least 5 years within IT in pharmaceutical or other relevant regulated industry; and a minimum of 7 years of experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules (versions 8.11 and above) with a focus in Distribution and Manufacturing - including multiple successful upgrades and at least one new install.
: Experience creating business requirements, working directly with end users, creating detailed functional design documentation from business requirements.
: Strong business process knowledge (specific to the assigned functional area).
: Understands JDE integration methodology and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
: Broad understanding of pharmaceutical business including, but not limited to, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, and Clinical.
: Experience with development, testing, and support of GxP applications, including authoring and execution of GxP test protocols.
: Experience with structured developmental testing, including system integration testing.
: Solid understanding of System Life Cycle with hands-on experience throughout full life cycle.
: Knowledge of best practices in IT security.
: Excellent communication skills, particularly in effectively communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
: Strong project management experience.
: Team-oriented, but also able to work independently.
: Detail-oriented.
: Must live within a commutable distance from the NJ offices.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
: Knowledge of SOX/JSOX and associated system control requirements.
: Knowledge of current and evolving technologies.
: Experience working in a global organization.
: RFSmart knowledge.
: SQL Experience.
: JDE Advanced Pricing knowledge a plus.
: JDE Consulting Experience a plus.
: JDE System Administration a plus.
