Are you interested in shaping the future of correctional health care? The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is hiring professionals to transform its Dental Program. We’re looking for progressive thinkers who have a passion for providing quality care.
This position has an approved hiring freeze exemption.
Under the direction of the Supervising Dental Assistant, Correctional Facility (CF), and the clinical direction of a Dentist, CF, incumbents shall assist the Dentist in dental procedures and related dental office work.
This is a Full Time Limited Term (12 months) position with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Starting Salary:
$2,828.00/monthly
Through June 30, 2013, full-time employees’ monthly pay will be reduced by 4.62% in exchange for eight (8) hours of leave. Part-time employees shall be subject to the pay reduction on a pro-rated basis consistent with their time base. The salary above does not reflect this reduction.
Additional Bonuses:
Dental Assistants that have valid certifications from COMDA in:
Ultrasonic Scaling - will receive $25 per month
Coronal Polishing - will receive $25 per month
