We are now seeking an Administrative Supervisors to join our team.

Coordinate patient care and patient placement in collaboration with nurse managers and administrators. Act as a resource for routine nursing policies and procedures, legal issues, patient rights and compliance with the standards of regulatory and accrediting agencies. Serve as a clinical resource agent to nursing units and ancillary departments for problem solving. Coordinate staffing of all nursing units in conjunction with the nurse manager/designee. Coordinate patient placement in cooperation with the physician. Facilitate procurement of medical supplies and/or equipment. Work with other divisions and outside agencies to provide equipment or supplies not available in-house.

Other responsibilities include: assist nursing personnel and family members in all circumstances that surround the death of a patient; facilitate all arrangements for autopsies; determine appropriate referrals to Medical Examiner; assist ancillary departments when applicable; coordinate utilization of staff from other departments; may participate in interviewing, hiring, evaluating and disciplining team members; and manage various personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business or a health related field or must be enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Nursing, Business or a health related field. Candidates with a BSN are preferred. Requires four years of clinical experience, a current RN license in the state of Florida and BLS/ACLS certification. Must maintain a current CPR certification.
