Tizen Automotive IVI Product Marketing Engineer
Responsibilities include representing the product to customers and sales force. Conducts competitive product analysis and market research. Oversees development and production of marketing material, may be required to develop and present product training material. Responsible for creation and maintenance of product briefs and online collateral. Advisor to the sales force and key resource in interacting with engineering, product management, and marketing groups. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
This position is in the Open Source Technology Center, which developed the initial versions of the Tizen mobile OS under the auspices of the Linux Foundation. Your job will be to create the external facing materials that explain Tizen for automotive in-vehicle infotainment as an open source project to the open source development community. You will work with planners, engineering management, and other marketing groups.
-Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; technical/scientific discipline preferred. But technical curiousity is required. MBA preferred but business acumen is required.
-Five years of experience in consumer software, automotive market or web development.
-Outstanding writing, critical thinking and presentation skills.
-Current understanding of the dynamics of the automotive OS market is required.
-Experience in Open Source SW preferred.
