We are looking for a self-motivated IT Service Desk Administrator who can work well alone and within a team with minimal supervision. The role is required to provide support for the following troubleshoot desktop and laptops in a mixed MAC/PC environment. Configure VOIP phones and mobile devices for end users. Perform analysis of computer and network systems as well as maintain the overall installation and maintenance of hardware and software on a daily basis. Oversees daily operations of our site, including troubleshooting LAN/WAN network communications operations, hardware and application software.
  • Respond to and resolve end user IT support issues
  • Support Windows and OSX desktop and laptops
  • Support end user software such as MS Office 2010/2011 and Business Google Apps
  • Administer user and email accounts
  • PC/Mac laptop/desktop imaging
  • Support VOIP and end user mobile devices

Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service disposition
  • 3+ years IT support experience
  • Willing to work on-call on weekends and after main business hours
  • WAN/LAN troubleshooting experience
  • Windows 7 and OSX 10.x troubleshooting and support experience
  • PC and Mac hardware support and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with mobile devices such as Androids and iPhones
  • Experience with remote desktop using LogMeIn for remote user support
  • Knowledge and experience using Windows Deployment Server (WDS) for imaging PC laptops/desktops
  • Knowledge of IT ticketing systems, Kayako Resolve preferred
  • Knowledge of Symantec Altiris Hardware and Software Inventory Suite
  • Knowledge of Symantec Endpoint Antivirus
  • Knowledge and experience of 2 Factor Authentication/Token VPN
  • Knowledge of Symantec PGP Full Disk Encryption for both PCs and Macs
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, group policy, etc.
  • Knowledge of VOIP
