The Business Systems Analyst supports the development of functional specifications for systems and applications. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the tactical development and maintenance of functional specifications to ensure systems/applications meet business requirements throughout project and program life cycle. The Business Systems Analyst will add value by participating in projects, system upgrades, conversions, and business analysis for the Business Systems Analysis Group. Perform complex analysis and implement solutions to problems for issues related to the Wallstreet Application.
The BSA will be responsible for:
Translate and document the system scope statements prepared by the Senior BSA while applying basic understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
Document and appropriately capture functional specifications according to organization process in alignment with overall Change Framework and IT Operating model.
Configures system settings and options to ensure business requirements are fulfilled
Manage project tasks assigned within scope, quality and timeframe allocated with PM supervision
Identify and record risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions in accordance with project standards.
Perform knowledge transfer and subject matter expertise to test teams ensuring testing follows the Citizens testing governance process.
3 + years Financial services industry or business line experience, Project coordination experience, System / business process testing methodologies, professional experience in analysis, operations, systems
Strong organization skills
Advanced MS Access Data Base, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint Strong ability to multi-task
Strong time management skills
Strong written and verbal skills

Quantitative & qualitative reasoning skills
Solid Project Management and Business Process Development skills
Strong fundamental knowledge of computers; mainframe, personal and distributed computers, and software applications for areas supported
