Description of Duties
The incumbent shall perform budgetary revisions, financial reprogramming actions, the development and analysis of program/budget plans, the analysis of cost data and estimates, and identification and implementation of cost management systems. The incumbent shall use generally accepted software applications used by ASC and interface with the appropriate accounting and finance information systems. The incumbent shall perform and provide assistance to financial personnel with program integration, procedural, technical, budgetary, and financial cost analysis, cost estimating, cost proposal evaluations, cost scheduling, financial programming work on selected assignments (annual appropriations and/or multi-year funding) and with higher HQ requests for financial information. The incumbent shall perform budgetary revisions, financial reprogramming actions, the development and analysis of program/budget plans, the analysis of cost data and estimates, and identification and implementation of cost management systems.
Incumbent will provide financial management for existing programs and new programs in various stages of development, production, operation, and maintenance to include review and analysis of unliquidated and negative unliquidated obligations. Performance of cost analysis and estimating for new and existing programs in various stages of concept exploration, development, production, operations, and maintenance with varying complexity, including those reflecting cutting-edge technology. Conduct cost/schedule performance analysis of earned value management reports. Schedule analysis for existing programs and new programs in various stages of development and production.
Requirements for Position
Fifteen years financial management experience
Current Secret security clearance
Ability to conduct cost risk and schedule risk assessments
Air Force acquisition experience
USAF/DoD financial management experience
Proficiency using Microsoft office products
Proficiency using CCARS financial management tool
Preferred Requirements for Position
Expert skills in cost estimating and cost analysis
Masters degree in related discipline
