Training Developer : Parallon Business Solutions

General Summary of Duties - The Training Developer is responsible for efficient and effective design, development and delivery of education initiatives that are implemented by Parallon Business Solutions. This individual will be supporting a team, which includes Facilitators, Operational Business Owners, Project Management, and others as needed. As a highly visible department representative, this individual must consistently demonstrate a strong service commitment by continually striving to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Parallon Business Solutions Office in Richmond, VA is seeking a Training Developer to complement the current education team.

Follow established educational strategies for both competency-based and operational-based education initiatives.
· Develop, revise and maintain content-specific, competency-based, and operational-based education programs as assigned, by collaborating with multiple groups both internal and external to the organization.
· Use specialized software to enhance the educational experience of participants. Software knowledge should include but not be limited to Microsoft Tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) Captivate, Camtasia, Snag It, Photo Shop, Adobe Pro, WebEx.
· Deliver and support training initiatives for various groups, including leadership teams and end-users. Delivery methods may include instructor-led, train-the-trainer, virtual classroom, web-cast, or web-based methodologies.
· Coordinate logistics associated with education events and departmental meetings.
· Maintain training administration records.
· Review course evaluations and determine appropriate action to incorporate feedback into curriculums .

· Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties
· PC Skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required
· Policy & Procedures - demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organization policies, procedures and systems
· Basic skills - able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately
Education
· Bachelor's degree preferred.
· Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement.
Experience
· Minimum of 1 - 2 years of training, development and delivery experience required (including instructional design, adult learning principles, and technology-based education).
· Distance learning experiences preferred.

Web Based Training Including WebEx and Captivate experience highly preferred.
·
Relevant education may substitute experience requirement.
