Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years of administrative experience in a government agency, university setting or large business office with responsibility for office management, preparation of reports, supervision of staff, etc. Experience in project management and coordination of special events and experience in the review and analysis of data is preferred. Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills required. Must be able to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment. Must maintain confidentiality regarding work assignments. Must be willing to work additional hours for assignments, such as board meetings, grant preparations, etc. Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree.

Responsibilities: Provides administrative support for the Cancer Institute of New Jersey's Office of Administration and Planning. In this capacity, is responsible for, and involved in, all aspects of planning, coordinating and evaluating Administration and Planning activities, events, and projects including, but not limited to, adminstrative responsibility for grant preparations, annual reports to the State and other agencies, purchasing and supervision of assigned staff. Functions as principal liaison between the Office of Administration and Planning and administrative offices of three consortium institutions (UMDNJ, Rutgers, and Princeton University), Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, and CINJ Foundation.
