The George Mason University, College of Education and Human Development, Division of Advanced Professional Teacher Development and International Education seeks a part-time Database Specialist and Budget Coordinator.
The successful candidate must possess strong database administration/management skills; budget reconciliation/management skills; strong oral and written communication skills; and be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize time-sensitive tasks and take initiative in a team environment. Candidate will be expected to work independently, and proactively identify and resolve problems. This position also requires proficiency in MS Access, budget worksheets in MS Excel, and MS Word and e-mail. The candidate will also assist with purchasing through eVA (the state procurement system), contract course enrollment, student admissions, and communications with new and current students. Prior Ellucian Banner experience is preferred.
The position is a part-time, nonstudent hourly wage position for 20 hours per week with no benefits, but does offer a flexible schedule.
