Basic qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical/specialty sales experience
  • Requires a valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% overnight
  • Candidate must live in Florida.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of HIV Customer Accounts including Corrections , ID Training Hospitals, AIDS Service Organizations, Veterans Affairs, Kaiser(regionally), and HIV high volume & specialty HIV Pharmacies.
  • Understand key compliance and regulatory guidelines and boundaries for promoting within labeling (FDA guidelines and indications).
  • Demonstrated Account Experience

  • Ability to work in matrix environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to identify and implement Business Improvement specialist projects both regional and national. Work including standardizing commonly used processes to help free up time and achieve cost savings for more value-added work, like focusing on the customer.
  • High level and extensive knowledge of institutional market, HIV products & therapeutic area, business and clinical environment preferred.
  • Strong record of high performance and consistent results.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of promotional objectives, strategies, and tactics.
  • Knowledge of the changing selling environment (market place selling, payer market segments) and the related regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Ability to drive business results and identify new opportunities and strategies through strategic thinking and business planning.
  • Mastery of selling skills including pharmaceutical marketplace and a strong understanding of account based selling.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and engage stakeholders in a matrix organization

Details:
  • The Flex Account Manager is a field role in support of accounts in the (Florida Region) of the United States. The role also includes implementing ViiV home office projects, including Marketing, Payer, Comm Ops, and Training.
  • Utilizing effective account management strategies, the Flex Account Manager will be responsible for developing new and existing customer account opportunities to improve patient outcomes and accelerate growth in sales of ViiV products. They will develop and deliver customer value propositions that describe how ViiV products and service solutions can create superior customer value.
  • The Flex Account Manager will provide a dedicated focus within ViiV HIV Accounts including Institutional Accounts, including Corrections (Federal and State Prisons as well as City and County Jails), ID Training Hospitals, AIDS Service Organizations, VA system, Kaiser, and High volume HIV Pharmacies.
  • Establish customer and internal relationships while leveraging internal resources with goal of developing opportunities for ViiV Healthcare HIV products and portfolio promotion in AIDS service and community based organizations.
  • Develop higher-level relationships and increase appropriate growth through deployment of organizational resources to provide appropriate product and services solutions.
  • Ensure executional excellence by providing structure and accountability around the creation, coordination, pull-through and maximization of aligned opportunities in accounts that will deliver greater customer value and accelerate appropriate growth in sales of ViiV products.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional peers across the matrix including Marketing, Operations, Health Systems and hospitals, Contracting, Regional Medical Staff, and other Field based business units.
  • Actively learn and grow professionally; acquire new business acumen and insights; demonstrate courage to make difficult decisions; focus on diverse cultures, people and values.
  • Ensure formulary positioning of HIV products within the Corrections Managed Healthcare groups and Pharmacy Providers.
  • Think, plan, and act on strategies aligned to short, medium, and long-term objectives of both the customer and ViiV Healthcare.
