Veterinary Technician Advanced Veterinary Care Center (AVCC) is a multi-specialty referral veterinary hospital serving veterinarians and pet owners throughout Southern California. We also provide emergency care and services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our medical staff consists of board certified specialists in cardiology, internal medicine, oncology, surgery, and a specialist in acupuncture and herbal medicine. AVCC's mission is to provide high quality, compassionate care to its patients and exceptional service to clients and referring veterinarians. AVCC's main facility is located in the City of Lawndale - 'The Heart of the Southbay'. We also provide cardiology services in the San Fernando Valley and Tustin. Our facilities are state-of-the-art and we offer the latest laboratory, radiographic and diagnostic equipment and procedures. We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT) or unregistered Veterinary Technician for day and afternoon/evenig shifts. We are also searching for an experienced Patient Care Coordinator and an experienced Evening Shift Coordinator to oversee evening shift operations and our veterinary technician staff. The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of basic and advanced animal care to include, but not limited to: animal restraint, administering oral and injectable treatments, placing IV catheters, taking x-rays, drawing blood, running lab tests, and operating and maintaining diagnostic equipment. Previous specialty or emergency experience is desirable. The successful candidate will be compassionate about working with animals, work well with others, possess strong work ethics, and be able to work independently and provide support to interns and doctors in the care and treatment of animals under our care.
Job Requirements: Veterinary Technician day & swing shift 4-5 yrs experience.
