Job Summary: To oversee maintenance operations for a portfolio of multifamily properties.
" Oversee a team of Superintendents, Mechanics and Porters/Cleaners
" Maintain curb appeal and cleanliness of assigned buildings at all times
" Perform documented weekly inspections of all assigned buildings
" Respond to emergencies as needed
" Responsible for inventory control at each property
" Support Regional Director of Operations in recruitment/on-boarding of new hires within the region
" Obtain quotes for repairs and capital improvements as needed and present them to the Regional Director of Operations for review
" Maintain compliance with code requirements at all times
" Perform annual apartment inspections with Property Managers
" Oversee contractor repairs to ensure that work is completed according to specifications
" Ensure that corporate policies are complied with at all times
" BS/BA degree
" Five years of experience in maintenance and/or facilities management
" Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel
" Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and remain calm under pressure
" Must be able to work successfully with all levels of staff
" Excellent verbal and written communication is required
" Must have a valid driver's license and a vehicle
Anticipated Work Schedule:
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. On call 24/7/365 for emergencies.
