GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Under direct supervision of the Information Technology Manager, performs all aspects of SharePoint design, as well as updating and maintaining content for SharePoint project sites using SharePoint 2010. Day-to-day responsibilities will include: configuration, design, documentation, testing and deployment of custom applications to meet our requirements. Work with others to assure an efficient SharePoint design and implementation to provide a stable environment. Involved in Windows Server installs, patching, upgrades to ensure proper operation of SharePoint Servers.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees the day-to-day maintenance of SharePoint content and manages a proactive content authoring and review process to ensure content is accurate and current. Enhance and customize SharePoint Wikis, custom web parts, layouts, and templates in order to meet the needs of each department. Ability to deploy and configure SharePoint sites including: creating and managing web applications and site collections, and enabling user access. Perform typical administrative activities such as troubleshooting, site creation, and end user problem resolution. Maintaining security and permissions to control access and other related environments. Providing technical support and ad hoc training to SharePoint end users. Maintains responsibility for testing which includes performing unit, system, data integrity, scalability testing, and ensures SharePoint reliability and availability to meet mission and enterprise requirements. Research new technology, and implement it or recommend its implementation. Additional related duties as required/assigned.
Associates degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Requires a minimum of three years as a full-time, multi-property experience in SharePoint content management expert understanding in building workflows. Strong experience using Microsoft InfoPath and SharePoint Designer. SharePoint and Website Administration experience knowledge a plus.
