The Passport20 Externals Systems Integration Leader role will demonstrate accountability for functional and business objectives relative to the engine externals systems and hardware. In this role, you will integrate the design and development of the externals module with the rest of the engine development organizations as well as with the customer Bombardier. You will also support the overall engine design development, test, and certification.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and technical direction for assigned modules
  • Provide leadership and communication across module teams to assure system level requirements are met
  • Coordinate design integration and data exchange with the airframer as required
  • Represent GE in front of the airframer customer for the assigned modules
  • Provide recommendations to the leadership team
  • Establish work group goals within framework of technical and financial objectives
  • Maintain broad awareness of efforts within group to assure technical quality excellence, timely completion of work and reviews, appropriate use of resources, and responsiveness to customer / program needs
  • Facilitate communication of technical and business information between organizations and within work group
  • Communicate with management on technical, organizational, and resource issues

    Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and / or Physics from an accredited College or University
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within an Engineering environment
