Responsibilities:
Work closely with technical leads & architects in the development of world class enterprise applications for large enterprises such as AT&T U-Verse, Liberty Media, and Disney
Develop custom software for digital media clients such as a Video-on-Demand platform for online, TV, mobile, and tablet devices using Java6, J2EE, Spring and RESTful Web Services
Additio A E Embrace newer tools and technologies including: Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, Spring AOP, Hibernate, EHCache, Axis, Freemarker, Sitemesh, JMS, JUnit, JMock, Jasper reports, Sonar, Eclipse, Subclipse, TestNG, log4j, hsql, and easy mock
Write quality code for on-time, on-budget deployment according to project management schedules
Work with a team to ensure our client’s end product meets their standards for enterprise software applications
Requirements:
2+ years experience with Java development
Experience developing enterprise applications with Java, J2EE
Experience with Open Source frameworks such as Tapestry and Spring frameworks
Solid understanding of web based or content management software development
Experience working with technologies such as Tomcat, Jetty, JBOSS, Apache, Websphere or Weblogic
Experience with Continuous Build approaches using tools such as Subversion, Maven and Hudson
Full lifecycle experience, be highly technical and hands-on
Good understanding of process and methods such as AGILE
Be committed to design, build and deployment excellence
Strong communications skills
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
