As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Adap.tv, you will draw upon your strong technical background and/or education and experience working with web applications. In this position you will play a critical role for overall project planning, execution, tracking, and delivery of high quality online video ad serving products; you will also be responsible for implementing the processes for best practices while working closely with our development and product management teams. Additional responsibilities will include:
Analyzing requirement and design specifications
Developing and executing test plans and test cases
Logging and monitoring issues in the bug tracking system
Participating in design reviews
Identifying/quantifying risks associated with projects under test
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance (New college grads with solid analytical skills, prior test or data driven internship experience ok)
Demonstrated experience in testing web applications
Familiar with testing applications built with Flash/HTML/CSS/Javascript, cross browser compatibility
Familiar with automation/open source tools, (e.g. Selenium) a plus
Familiar with database system (e.g. MySQL) a plus
Outstanding attention to detail required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Understanding of the SDLC and QA methodology a plus
Understanding of online video advertisement a plus
