Leads MGM Resorts International Aviation to maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support customer service.
Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of parts on aircraft assigned by Supervisor and or Assistant Chief of Maintenance.
Assure compliance of all Airworthiness Directive’s (AD’s).
Ensure that aircraft servicing is completed before and after each flight.
Responsible to assure that the aircraft is available to support flight operations, including cleaned and in position for departures.
Launch and Recover aircraft, preflight, post flight, debriefs with crewmembers, resolve any discrepancies, assist passengers and responsible that aircraft is ground handled in accordance with company procedures.
Keep Supervisor and Assistant Chief of Maintenance informed on all upcoming maintenance events.
Maintain aircraft records on assigned aircraft.
Maintain ground support equipment in good working order.
Maintain a working knowledge of the procedures, parts and tools needed to perform inspections, maintenance and repair on company aircraft. Knowledge with MEL procedures for MGM Resorts International Aviation.
Perform inspections of incoming parts, including all documentation and physical condition.
Includes shipping and receiving functions to support flight operations.
Accompany aircraft on maintenance and oversea flights when required.
Responsible for following Aircraft Technical Data and Aircraft Manufacturer's Specifications.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Airframe and Powerplant School.
Must have the following licenses: FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, and/or other designations, drivers license.
Must possess broad knowledge and experience with the maintenance of aircraft of the category, class, and type that the company operates.
Possesses a thorough knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations pertinent to the maintenance of aircraft of the category and class being operated.
Leadership, organizational and maintenance planning experience, as well as technical and computer skills.
Excellent customer services skills.
Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
Previous experience in a similar resort setting.
