We are currently seeking an
Cancer Accreditation Coordinator
to join our hospital. You will be responsible for facilitation of the cancer registry program, focused on identifying, abstracting and continuing surveillance of patients who have been diagnosed with cancer or who have received cancer treatment at Overlake.
Serves as the Cancer Program’s expert and is responsible for monitoring compliance with Commission on Cancer (CoC) accreditation standards and advising cancer program leadership on maintaining compliance.
Participates in and leads quality improvement activities in conjunction with program goals and accreditation standards.
Bachelor’s degree required
Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) required
Incumbent is required to maintain current certification and meet the continuing education requirements.
Five years recent experience in CoC accredited Cancer Program required.
Previous experience should include knowledge of quality improvement standards and techniques.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
