The College Board, a national educational organization, is conducting a search for an Administrative Assistant for Quality Control who will work closely with all teams and operational units necessary to support the Quality team with primary responsibilities in test scoring QC activities. The Administrative Assistant for Quality Control will be located in our San Juan, Puerto Rico office.
Provide administrative and program support to the Quality team with primary responsibilities in test scoring QC activities. Support the supervision and QC of the correct application of test keys and scoring parameters applied operationally within the PRLA office. Responsible for receiving manual scoring requests and processing those requests orders timely and efficiently. Maintain high standards of quality assurance. Provide support to the Quality Assurance team in process checks and Quality Control activities like tollgates verification and approval, operational incidents review and generation, test key generation and approval and quality audits. Support the implementation and maintenance of the quality document control system.
Receive QA requests for test scoring of samples of answer sheets and coordinate with the supervisor of the team their processing.
Identify risk factors or possible process errors within operational scoring unit.
Perform QC of all manual scoring samples including the comparison of answer sheet information with Scoring and Reporting produced information, management of electronic files for quality control activities, comparison of hand scored results with Scoring and Reporting intermediate and final scoring results, QC of reports produced by other teams using hand scored sample information and report all QC results to immediate supervisor for Appropriate action(s).
Monitor the manual QC scoring workload, prepare and communicate daily activities report and register and analyze the area results.
Compare manual answer sheet scoring results with Scoring personnel including optical scanning irregularities or errors, correct scoring key applications, correct parameter or conversion table scoring applications, and correct identification of candidates and scores in reports, lists, electronic lists or other media.
Maintain proper documentation of QC results; process QC orders timely and efficiently; prepare and maintain calendars of QC activities.
Report all QC irregularities to the supervisor for appropriate action(s).
Provide clerical support to the supervisor, including data entry.
A degree in Education, Psychology, Science or related field or equivalent experience. One to two years of experience performing quality control functions or similar duties.
