General Description:PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Organize, plan, and conduct learning sessions for a variety of IT initiatives. Facilitate productive classroom sessions and administer evaluations in accordance with institutional standards and guidelines. Interact and support end-users with varied level of experience and computer skills. Provide go-live support and ongoing training to assist end-users in continued understanding of the system and processes.
Identify management requirements and operating problems, and define alterna¬tives and the recommended solution in terms of management information needs. The Systems Analyst uses current system and computer technology, and designs, installs and insures continuing operation of systems in all functional areas of CCHS. The Systems Analyst also acts as an internal consultant to management in disciplines and techniques such as patient management, patient accounting, payroll, ancillary and physicians systems and many other areas.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize and conduct learning sessions for hospital IT systems including project based and on-going new hire training.
Develop and manage classroom evaluations in order to assess learning effectiveness and suggest improvements and updates to course material.
Participate in course development and documentation to expand or improve learning goals and missions.
Support end users during and after project go-live to help encourage ongoing understanding of operational process and system functionality.
Maintain effective user relationships in order to provide a climate receptive to systems improvement and to enhance understanding of the users business concerns. Participate on user project teams, conduct additional training, and clarify procedures to assure full user satisfaction.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Training and Development, Education, Communication, or a related area. Equivalent professional experience can be substituted for education.
Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in employee training, training content development, and/or other related experience.
Significant experience in classroom training, adult education theories, and strong presentation skills.
Knowledge of education assessment and metric solutions for evaluating effectiveness of training plan.
Demonstrated excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a diverse group at various levels of the organization.
Familiarity with corporate Learning Management and Human Resources Information Systems.
Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment highly desirable.

- Speak well enough to elicit and transmit technical and operational information in meetings and face to face conversations in English with other CCHS employees and the public. Required for key responsibilities above.
